Conferencia: Conservación de Arte Mediático
Nos complace invitarlos a la conferencia sobre conservación de arte mediático que Alain Depocas dictará en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona (MACBA). Asimismo, al workshop sobre el mismo tema que tendrá lugar a continuación.

“Documentación y conservación de las artes multimedia: Centro de Investigación y Documentación (CR+D) de la Fundación Daniel Langlois”.
Alain Depocas nos introducirá en los distintos recursos del Centro de Investigación y Documentación (CR+D) de la Fundación Daniel Langlois y presentará los resultados de la alianza DOCAM, un proyecto internacionalmente reconocido de investigación sobre documentación y conservación de las artes mediáticas.

\\ Taller:
“Arte multimedia, documentación y estrategias de conservación: el proyecto DOCAM”.
El taller se basará en la experiencia de la Fundación Daniel Langlois (www.fondation-langlois.org) en la recopilación de documentación sobre prácticas artísticas tecnológicas, así como en métodos de relación, indexación y difusión de estos documentos. Se utilizará el modelo de documentación DOCAM, conjuntamente con otros recursos y herramientas elaborados por esta alianza con el objetivo de favorecer el conocimiento en profundidad los problemas de una obra de arte específica antes de escoger las estrategias de conservación adecuadas.
Este taller está pensado especialmente para conservadores-restauradores de obras de arte basadas en tecnologías electrónicas y tecnológicas. Los profesionales interesados pueden enviar su CV y una carta de motivación hasta el 27 de mayo a programespublics@macba.cat

Alain Depocas will introduce us into the different documental resources of the Daniel Langlois Foundation’s Centre for Research and Documentation (CR+D) and he will present the outcomes of the alliance DOCAM, an international research project on documentation and conservation of media arts.

\\ Workshop:
“Media art, documentation and conservation strategies: the DOCAM project”
The workshop will be based on the experience of the Daniel Langlois Foundation of collecting documentation on technology-based art practices, and on methods of connection, indexation and dissemination of these documents. Mr. Depocas will introduce the recently developed DOCAM documentation model and other resources produced by this research alliance over the past five years of its existence. The aim is to help restorers of technology-based art-pieces, to attain a thorough understanding of the problems manifested in specific artworks, before selecting the appropriate strategies for conservation.
