Ubuntu-Women is a team functioning under Ubuntu to provide a platform and encouragement for women to contribute to Ubuntu-Linux, a Debian based free and open-source GNU/Linux software. Our main role will be along the lines of supplementing and being the stepping stone toward the larger Ubuntu-Linux world. Membership is open to all.

Amb data 15 de maig de 2008, el DOGC publica l’ordre (IUE/217/2008), per la qual es crea l'Institut Interuniversitari d'Estudis de Dones i de Gènere (iiEDG), com a institut de recerca interuniversitari, on hi participen set universitats catalanes: Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya i Universitat de Vic.

Hemos creado una nueva web "femipedia.es" una enciclopedia feminista, libre y en lengua castellana. Basada en la tecnología wiki, se elabora con aportaciones voluntarias, permitiendo que la gran mayoría de artículos puedan ser modificados por cualquier persona con acceso mediante un navegador web.
